What data I collect and why

Contact form

When you use the contact form, I collect your first name and email address so I can respond to your inquiry. This information is stored securely and only used to communicate with you.

Analytics

This site uses Matomo Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics platform hosted on our own servers. Matomo helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Your data stays on our servers, is never shared with third parties, and tracking is cookieless to respect your privacy.

Comments

When blog comments are enabled, visitors who leave comments will have their name, email address, and comment content stored. This helps prevent spam and allows you to participate in discussions.

Password-protected portfolio (folio.shay.io)

Access to my confidential work portfolio is password-protected. When you request access, I collect your email address to send you credentials. This section contains client work under NDA and is separate from the public site. Email addresses provided for portfolio access are deleted after 6 months unless there’s an ongoing business relationship.

This site uses cookies from Google Analytics to track visitor behavior. These are standard analytics cookies that help me understand site traffic.
