Quote mark

I only take on work when I believe in the challenge, the people, and my ability to bring my best to it.

I work best with people who...

  • Build with heart, not just hustle
  • Want to do the right thing — and do it right
  • Value alignment and purpose over box-ticking
  • Own their decisions and pivot when needed
  • Know when to lead, support, or step back
  • Don’t let job titles define what they contribute

Whether we work together or not…

If something here resonated, great. If it helped you think differently, even better.

Frequently Asked Questions

These are the questions that tend to come up before starting a project. They save time, explain how I work, and help us see if we’re a fit.
What if I’m not sure exactly what I need?

That’s often the best place to start. If we talk, we’ll figure it out… or I’ll point you to someone better suited. Either way, you’ll leave with more clarity than you came with.

Do you work remotely or in person?
I’m flexible. Hybrid tends to be ideal, but I’ve led fully remote teams and know how to keep collaboration and culture strong, wherever people are based.
Can I see examples of your work?
Absolutely… but I don’t share detailed case studies publicly.

Many of my projects are under NDA, and even when they’re not, I’ve found it’s far more useful to share examples that are relevant to your situation, not just a generic gallery.

If you’re interested, use the link below or connect with me on Linkedin and I’ll happily provide access to a tailored set of case studies once we’ve had a quick chat to make sure it’s a good fit.

What’s your focus: UX, UI, Service Design, Product, or something else?

I started back when “web design” covered everything, long before UX and UI had names.

Over the years I’ve been hands-on most with UX and UI, but I’ve also led global design functions that brought together Service Design, Business Design, Product Design, UX, UI, and more under one roof. This often included working alongside product, engineering, and marketing teams.

I know what great looks like in each of these disciplines and how they work together. I don’t try to do everything myself. I work with some of the best people in their fields and know how to create the conditions for them to deliver their best work.

Can you work alongside our existing team or agency?
Yes. I often work in partnership with in-house teams, agencies, or other consultants. The aim isn’t to replace what’s working… it’s to make the whole setup stronger.
How do you adapt to different industries?
I focus on understanding the people, problems, and goals first. The tools and methods can be adapted. I’ve worked across finance, healthcare, tech, education, retail, and more. Each one has its own challenges, but the core principles of good design and leadership apply everywhere.
What kind of projects do you say no to?

Anything that harms humanity, normalises damage, or preys on people. That includes gambling, adult content, alcohol, and similar no-go zones. I’ve got boundaries for a reason.

What kinds of projects do you get most excited about?

I enjoy working on projects that make a genuine difference in people’s lives. Healthcare and other positive impact work always gets my attention.

I’m also interested in blockchain and crypto, especially where they solve real problems rather than chasing hype. I like problems with twists, the ones that need fresh thinking and can take you somewhere completely new.

How quickly can you start?

Easy, now. Let’s talk first and see if the stars actually align. Get in touch and we’ll take it from there.

What happens if we’re not a fit?
That’s okay. If I think someone else would be a better fit for what you need, I’ll tell you… and where possible, I’ll connect you with them. It saves us both time and energy, and you still move forward.
How do you charge?

Depends on the project… but I don’t charge by the hour. I prefer clarity, value, and fair exchange. (Crypto-friendly too, if you’re into that sort of thing – but limited to BTC, USDT, and USDC for now).
